Lance Franklin is a giant in AFL football. The star forward has kicked more than 1000 goals and played in over 300 AFL games. Originally from Perth, he was drafted at pick no. 5 by the Hawthorn Football Club in 2004 and won two premierships, four All-Australian selections and two Coleman Medals with the Hawks. In 2014 he signed with the Sydney Swans where he has won a further four All-Australian selections and two Coleman Medals. The Western Australian is one of just two players in the game’s history to kick 300 goals for two clubs and is one of only five players with eight All-Australian selections. In March 2022, Franklin kicked his 1000th career goal becoming just the sixth player in history to do so.
