Sarah Armstrong was an award-winning journalist and successful author of books for grown-ups before turning to writing for children, where she has now found her home. Big Magic was her first novel for readers aged 9+ and is a CBCA 2023 Notable book. Its sequel, Magic Awry, was published in 2023. She lives in subtropical northern NSW with her partner, Alan, and their daughter, Amelia.
