Halliday Wine Companion is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event and Product Executive to join our team at an exciting time as we launch an exciting new event and product programs.
In this role you will lead and execute delivery plans for
of Halliday Wine Club and Halliday Wine Academy, as well as plan and organise a range of events including our annual Halliday Wine Companion Awards dinner, consumer wine tasting events, luxury golf trips, wine judging events, tasting team regional visits, and various food and wine dinners throughout the year for both Halliday Wine Companion and our corporate partners. For these products and events to be a success, you will be responsible for ensuring the target audience is engaged and the event is marketed extensively across both Halliday and partner channels. This role will play a crucial part in the continued success and growth of Halliday Wine Companion. A love of wine and events is required.

Key responsibilities include:
•
Administration and coordination of events from start to finish across all locations
•
Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders during event planning
•
Manage catering and event logistics
•
Manage event run sheet to provide key information
•
Manage event setup, pack down and follow-ups
•
Coordinate all marketing activity in line with the annual events calendar including assisting with organic and paid social media strategy, email marketing and management, magazine and website promotions
•
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure events and product delivery are executed successfully
•
Assist with wider marketing activity where necessary
•
Create proposals for corporate clients, develop new event concepts, proactively approach partners for events, manage budget lines and invoicing, competitor analysis.
Key performance indicators:
•
Working with the team to ensure all events are executed on time, on brand and to a high standard, on time and on budget
•
Helping to reach event targets – for new and existing members
•
Ensuring audience growth and engagement targets are met
•
Ensuring customer service standards are met and exceeded
We are looking for someone that ticks all or most of the below boxes:
•
Experience in event and product management, or a keen interest in this area
•
Ability to work well in a team environment
•
Excellent time management and organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines
•
Excellent attention to detail and methodical organisational skills including effective budget management and planning skills
•
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
•
This role will involve domestic travel and applicants should have a valid drivers licence
•
Wine training experience is preferred but not essential
•
An interest in wine, publishing, media or marketing are all beneficial
